Why aren’t more people wealthy?

Why aren’t more people wealthy? I gave you four reasons last month; did you do your homework?

“Once you stop being afraid of money, it will stop being afraid of you”

Here are a few more reasons:

1. You never make it an absolute MUST! How many times have you said “It would be nice to be wealthy” or “maybe someday I will be wealthy”. This is not the self talk you want to use if you ever want to reach your goals. Try “I will be wealthy” or “I want to double my net worth in the next 3 years”. For most people paying bills is a must, make wealth creation a must also!
2. You Don’t Have a Realistic Plan. Winning the lotto or marrying into money would be nice, but it’s not a very realistic plan. How about finding a financial planner and creating a powerful realistic plan.
3. You Don’t Follow Through on Your Plan.. What’s worse than having no plan? Having one and then not following it. It’s like buying a treadmill and then never using it. Follow the plan that you created, and if needed alter it on occasion.
4. You Rely on the Experts to Create your Wealth Getting good advice and guidance is a must, but just handing over the money without taking an active role in your finances is a recipe for disaster. You must monitor and consult on a regular basis about your financial plan and what your money is doing.
