Life will never be the same!!!
IT IS COMING!!! A couple of months ago in the announcement about my retirement, I mentioned an undertaking that was the boldest, most impactful venture of my life. Well, soon you will see what it is and how it can help improve your life. This will be a vehicle to allow me to share the 30+ years of training in Business, Wealth, Health, Coaching, Parenting, and Strategies for Success, and bring them to you. But wait, as if one person’s knowledge wasn’t enough, my partner and friend in this venture, Dr. Ed Bice, will be sharing his knowledge in all these areas, plus his 30+ years of … [Read more...]
The Final Bucket: Absolute Financial Freedom
A couple of months ago, we continued this series with bucket #4: Financial Independence (if you need review, please click here). Bucket #6 is the Absolute Financial Freedom Bucket. If you didn’t complete Bucket #5, go back and complete each exercise as it will build on the previous month. Bucket Six: Absolute Financial Freedom I want you to turn off the lights, put on some music, grab a pen and pad in hand and start dreaming. Absolute Financial Freedom is achieved when your investments produce an income enough for you to do whatever you want, whenever you want, wherever you want, with … [Read more...]
Protect your ASSets!
One of the worst things that can happen to a person or a couple is to work their entire life building a business, saving and scraping, building wealth and assets, to only see them ripped away by some crazy stroke of bad luck or tragic event. Imagine sliding down the road in this crazy weather and killing someone totally by accident and finding that your liability car insurance covers about $250,000 and you are being sued for your entire net worth of 1 million dollars. Where will it come from? What if your teenage driver is texting while they drive and does the same? Most likely you are … [Read more...]
Recognizing the “Quiet” Ones
One of the best things that I have been blessed with in my careers, is the opportunity to work with some amazing people. In this case I am talking about those quiet ones that “secretly” make an organization and its owners/CEO look so good. My dental staff, over the years, is a prime example. This past weekend, I was honored to have nominated such a person to win two awards at the recent homecoming/reunion weekend at my Alma Mater, CWRU. It was with great pride that I watched and listened to Sara Fields, Director of Alumni Affairs, of our dental school accept her awards. She is truly one of … [Read more...]
How are Your Buckets Doing? Next Bucket: Financial Freedom
We are now getting into the big numbers that many aspire to, but few arrive at. Financial Freedom is achieved when your investments produce an income enough for you to live the lifestyle you want for the rest of your life, without ever having to work again. What is the income that will support this? You have already calculated your needs, your expenses, and the simple pleasures in previous months. Now add the big things that you might want - the boat, the fancy car, the trips, etc. It is easy to figure out what this might cost you per month. Add this figure to the other buckets. (Having … [Read more...]
To a Successful 2019!
As the year begins to wind down, it is not too early to start thinking about the office and business goals for 2020. It is the start of a new decade and it might be fun to also put your lofty goals on paper for the next 10 years and store them away to review in the coming years. For now, we will concentrate on 2020. I cannot emphasize enough to start thinking like a CEO of your business and holding meetings and goal planning like you owned Amazon, not just a dentist working in their insignificant little office. Here are some things you can start doing now as you finish up a hopefully … [Read more...]
A Special Announcement from Dr. Mario Pavicic
After 26 years of practicing dentistry, today, September 26th, 2019, will be my final day at the chair. I take with me a lifetime of memories that the profession has given me, both professionally and personally. I have met incredible people during my journey. I have developed lifelong friendships. I could not have done it without the support of my patients, but especially my dedicated, wonderful staff. I purchased my practice in 1993, on the Westside of Cleveland, from my childhood dentist, Dr. Marko Kuhar (a fellow Croatian). My classmate from CWRU Dental school, Dr. Tom Thomas, joined me … [Read more...]
My Brother, Boris
As many of you know, my brother, Boris, passed away from leukemia in 1998. He was my only sibling and I miss him every day since he has been gone. I formed a foundation in his honor to help not only keep his memory alive, but also to help others in need that are battling cancer. Each August, 70-120 people gather to golf, eat, drink, but mostly to help me keep my brother’s memory alive, at the same time collecting money for those in need that battle any type of cancer, including leukemia. This year we were struck hard as my dear friend Ron Arndt’s 8 month granddaughter, Harper, contracted … [Read more...]
How are Your Buckets Doing? Next Bucket: Financial Independence
Last month we continued this series with bucket #3: Financial Vitality. Bucket #4 is the Financial Independence Bucket. If you didn’t complete Bucket #3, go back and complete each exercise as it will build on the previous month. Bucket Four: Financial Independence We are now getting into the big numbers that many aspire to, but few arrive at. Financial Independence is achieved when your investments produce an income equal to “work” income. Now I hope your work income is higher than your expenses. If this is not the case, you need to make changes right away. Please reach out to me and … [Read more...]
