Sounds like an easy question. Of course, we are in the dental, coaching or retail business.
Once I really thought about it and discovered that I was in the ‘people’ business, my entire career changed.
Almost every business is, in some way, in the ‘people’ business. People buy from you, trust you with their health advice or money, and rely on you for services. We built our dental business on customer service and have never looked back.
Here are some other questions I would like you to answer that will help you plan the future. If you are an employee, please share this with the owner or the supervisor.
- What business are you really in? How is business? Are you where you would like to be or envisioned you would be?
- Why did you get into this business originally? Why are you in it now?
- Where do you feel your business ranks among your industry: top, middle, low? Can you justify it by numbers, customers and employee satisfaction?
- What is next for your business? Do you have a compelling future?
- Would an investment in business coaching help you on your journey?
Action Step for You: Take your time and answer these questions. Email me if you get stuck on any of them.
In today’s marketplace, even dental practices need to compete on Customer Experience and deliver Excellent Customer Service in order to retain customers and profits. Your service starts with you and your team and ends with your patients.
You MUST stand out to your patients and set your Dental Practice apart from your competitors.
